Communications Associate

Ryde started as a ride-sharing platform that matches drivers with riders going the same way to share a ride (RydePool), but we haven’t stopped there. We have established extended product services to include an e-payment platform (RydePay), taxi booking, and insurance purchases. We are continuously building features that benefit everyone.

We are now seeking to hire a talented and self-motivated **Communications Executive**. You and other members of the Marketing Team will work together to undertake market research, plan public strategies & campaigns, produce presentations & press releases, place ads & analyze media coverage for our digital, conventional & social media platforms, events, and projects.

Communication / Public Relations / Media Coordination
- Contribute to the creation, and manage the implementation, of the public relations (PR) program, including managing media, creating digital content, supporting special events, and facilitating internal communications.
- Write and disseminate timely, high-quality media releases, editorial, social media content, and other communications destined for the public domain.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of media, communications, and PR campaigns.
- Produce and distribute media coverage and analysis reports for internal stakeholders.

Digital Content Creation and Coordination
- Manage the news pages of Ryde's website to ensure a steady stream of fresh, quality content and ensure the content created for media and the website is leveraged across Ryde's various digital platforms.

Team Participation and Support
- Work closely with freelance/agency staff.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to achieve shared objectives and outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or closely related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in public relations/communications in either agency or in-house role/s.
- Exceptional writing ability and proven expertise in executive communication, including speechwriting and presentation development.
- Advanced knowledge of public relations/marketing communications best practices.
- Previous media relations experience and proven ability to cultivate relationships with the local and international press.
- Previous experience in event coordination or management.
- Extensive and holistic crisis/issues management experience.
- Working knowledge of content management/ publishing systems and Photoshop.
- Works with a high degree of integrity.
- Meets deadlines and exercises good judgment.
- Comprehends complex material and communicates it clearly, both verbally and orally.
- Can operate both as an outstanding individual and an excellent team contributor.
- Title and salary will be commensurate with your working experience.
