Your challenge
Close collaboration within the department between in-house attorneys and paralegals, as well as with other corporate functions, external business clients and attorneys
Calculating, managing and monitoring due dates worldwide
Ensuring that patents are maintained and documents at the various offices are prepared and filed on time
Processing of employee invention law transactions
Responsible for general administrative tasks like creating and updating records, deadlines and reminders in docketing system, maintaining electronic files for all assigned matters, checking of invoices and reporting
Assist with special projects
**Profile**:
Bachelor’s Degree in law or equivalent with minimum 3 years professional experience in IP field or Diploma in Paralegal with minimum 5 years’ professional experience in IP
Prior in-house experience is a plus

**Required Skills**:
Proficiency with using IP docketing systems and document management systems necessary, experience in DIAMS iQ (Dennemeyer) is an advantage
Proficiency with using at least one of ePCT, EPO OLF 2.0 or IP2SG e-filing, DPMA Direct Pro is an advantage

Language

Fluent English, German language skills advantageous to communicate with German speaking colleagues, but it is not a must.

Self-dependent, diligent and meticulous.
Able to multi-task and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical and judgment skills as well as interest in navigating in international and matrix-driven environments
Interest in learning about law and processes in new jurisdictions (i. e. EPC)
Willingness to travel
