IP Paralegal

Axiom is looking for a talented, organized, self-motivated and result-oriented Junior Paralegal / Paralegal to join our Legal & Compliance team. The role will be based in Singapore and reports to the Assistant Director, Legal.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of intellectual property (IP) portfolio (patents, trademarks and design rights).
• Assist and support in corporate secretarial matters, including preparation of documents, coordination of signing / notarization / certification actions, etc.
• Assist in the organization of key Legal & Compliance documents, such as internal policies.
• Assist and manage Legal and Compliance's vendors, especially external IP service providers, as well as handling the purchase requisition, ordering and payment processes.
• Assist in maintaining the budget and spending tracker of the Legal and Compliance team.
• Provide general support on administrative matters and assist in ad-hoc tasks as may be assigned from time to time, including facilitation of post-contract processes such as contract execution and archival.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in legal or IP-related studies.
• 2-5 years working experience as a paralegal, legal secretary or IP executive.
• Extensive experience in IP.
• In-house legal or law firm experience is preferred.
• Candidate must be meticulous, sharp, analytical, resourceful and willing to learn.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Adept at MS Office, MS Power Platform and other related applications. Competency in DocuSign is a plus.
