Paralegal Job Purpose: Our Heineken Legal ambition is to provide pro-active and practical advice to enable and protect HEINEKEN's sustainable growth. The Paralegal is expected to support the ambition by: Supporting Intellectual Property/ Trademark related matters Maintaining database for trademarks and intercompany TM/ Sourcing related documents Filing of documents Supporting corporate secretarial matters Reviewing template documents Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities 1. Supporting Intellectual Property/ Trademark related matters Prepare documents for signing and sending for notarization Assist in processing invoices for IP matters Assist in retrieving such documents when required 2. Maintaining database for trademarks and inter company TM/ Sourcing related documents Keep track of intercompany agreements in the APAC region Assist in providing list of trademarks for TMLAs 3. Filing of documents – Trademarks related documents, contracts, etc 4. Supporting corporate secretarial matters Ad hoc cosec support in respect of Heineken companies in Singapore, HK, Australia, BVI, including preparation/ co-ordination for preparation of resolutions for capital injections, granting of proxy for representatives to attend & vote at shareholder meetings, issuing letters of financial support Affixation of common seal (in respect of Singapore companies)Instructing & liaising with external cosec service providers Ad hoc purchase of company information e.g. company searches, register of shareholders Coordinating with Heineken companies in respect of director appointments, including preparing notification letters to JV partners Internal co-ordination of supporting documents for director appointments, preparing and coordination of signing of resolutions & other ad-hoc corporate secretarial requests for all Heineken APAC companies Arranging for notarization & legalization of documents Maintain APAC group structure org charts and list of Directors for Heineken APAC companies 5. Reviewing and advise on template documents - NDA, Service/Supply Agreements etc Qualifications and Experience Education: Degree or Diploma in Law or Paralegal studies Years of experience: At least 5 years of relevant working experience ideally with Corporate Secretarial (CoSec) experience; Those with in-house paralegal or legal executive experience or from reputable commercial law firms are encouraged to consider. Language Requirement: Fluent in English Specific Knowledge/skills: Excellent writing & presentation skills Information gathering and interpreting skills Adopt an agile mindset, be digitally adept Ability to manage problems, challenges and issues effectively and on time Stakeholder management Must have good organizational skills to manage demanding workload and priorities #HEINEKEN #DoSomethingThatMatters #DSTM #J-18808-Ljbffr
