**Objective**:

- Liaising with other IT systems and departments for the data, as needed.
- Providing system support for the department in terms of daily business processes.
- Liaising with system administrators, customers and vendors on day-to-day system-related tasks

**Task Description**

**1. Operative Tasks (L1/L2 support)**
- Monitor and control all daily batch jobs, including batch night jobs. Work with DBA in case of error or job abend.
- Work with DEV/IT team for new releases to the system.
- Perform UAT before the production release.
- Monitor the system interfaces and liaise with systems and ensure the quality of data flow.
- In case of a system fault or error, raise a ticket to DEV/IT via SNOW.
- Liaising with IT vendors and customers for changes and IT issues.

**2. Strategic Tasks**
- Maintaining correct system configurations and master data by coordinating with vendors and the go-to person for the unit.

**3. User Access and training**
- Coordinate with System colleagues in Germany to get access to employees and customers on the required systems. Provide necessary authorization to access systems using the access management tools.
- Act as a first-level support for training and user access administration.

**4. Reporting**
- Prepare operational reports and support business units by providing various reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to monitor the KPIs of operational excellence.
- Coordinate with RuC (Reporting and Controlling) responsible in Germany for new access creation, data missing or discrepancy.

**5. Documentation & Training**

Prepare documentation / working instructions for all the IT tasks, Process changes, and system releases.

Train the users upon implementation of changes or new releases of programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Basic understanding of COBOL and JCL.
- Experience in IBM Mainframe OS/390
- Experience in Logistics/Supply chain is preferred but not mandatory.
