**CRITERIONS**
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Additional controller duties as necessary

**COMPETENCIES**
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- At least 5 years’ experience in the finance industry
- Preferably have experience to walk through the listing of a company / IPO process before
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Xero)
- Strong sense of work commitment and responsibility.
- CPA/ CA is a strong advantage
- Able to communicate in Chinese language to coordinate and handle queries from Chinese speaking counterparts in regards with the development of market content matters
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Ability to work independently and a high performance-orientation
- Able to work under pressure and meeting deadlines

**CREDENTIALS**
- Proven Grade A Employee
- Tertiary certificate (preferred), welcome aspirers who have strong experience and track record with no tertiary certificate
