Our client is an asset management company with offices in China and Hong Kong. Due to its expansion to Singapore, they are recruiting a Finance Controller for their local operation. This position will report to the Regional General Manager (based in Singapore).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure proper financial control and statutory reporting for the entire group companies operating in Singapore.
- Preparation of the annual accounts and review of the annual tax returns.
- Compile financial budget and perform operational and costing analysis.
- Set up accounting standard for the companies in Singapore and develop operational procedures and workflow.
- Manage the finance team to provide management reporting, performance and expense analysis, and response to ad-hoc analysis requests.
- Lead and advise management on the finance requirements of establishing and/or operating a fund in Singapore.
- Liaise with external advisors (auditor and tax consultants).
- Work with the group CFO and the finance team in HQ and other regional office to provide necessary assistance and reporting on financial matters.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree qualified CA/CPA with at least 7 years of financial accounting experience.
- A strong communicator, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast growing and entrepreneurial environment.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (Written and Spoken) to liaise with senior management team from HQ and Hong Kong Regional Office.
- A strong team leader with an aptitude to be hands-on will be ideal for this role.
- Experience in handling finance operations of an asset management or fund management firm will be an advantage.
