**Summary**

LeapFrog Investments is looking for an Analyst, Profit with Purpose to support our Investment Teams and associated portfolio companies to achieve impact in line with our stated Profit with Purpose goals. The primary focus of the role is to manage the impact and environmental, social and governance (ESG) data gathered from portfolio companies and to support the Impact and Investment Teams with data analysis. As an integral member of the Impact Team, you will contribute to developing the analysis that demonstrates the value of profit with purpose investing and will develop insights that support portfolio companies in reaching more emerging consumers.

**About the Role**

This role is part of LeapFrog’s Impact Team. It is a key role for establishing a robust impact and ESG data management system that enables LeapFrog to further analyse the impact of its portfolio companies in providing essential services to emerging consumers. The role holder will make an important contribution to developing insights that support LeapFrog’s profit with purpose mandate.

Key responsibilities of the role:
**Data System Design - 10%**
- Support transition of our existing impact and ESG data systems to iLevel, our new portfolio management software.
- Manage updates to the iLevel system as needed to meet additional data requirements.

**Data Collection and Management - 40%**
- Acquire, update and maintain high-quality portfolio company data using various internal systems (FIIRM - Leapfrog’s proprietary impact measurement framework and iLevel) for all investments and funds.
- Coordinate quarterly and annual data collection on impact and ESG indicators from the portfolio companies, engaging closely with investment teams. This includes managing data collection for LeapFrog’s annual impact and ESG governance survey with portfolio companies.
- Ensure quality of data collected and highlight any discrepancies to the investment team.
- Ensure impact data is collected according to leading impact measurement and management standards, including IRIS+ standards from the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN).

**Analysis and Reporting - 40%**
- Maintain iLevel and PowerBI dashboards containing key analysis and develop new dashboards as needed by the business.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reporting on impact and ESG data for internal and external reporting.
- Connect external data sources to complement internal data for benchmarking and industry information purposes.
- Responsible for impact and ESG data request from investors, portfolio companies and other stakeholders.
- Work with other internal teams, such as Investment Teams, Investor Relations and External Affairs to help develop and improve impact and ESG databases and usability across the firm.

**Other - 10%**
- Support team with special projects such as measuring LeapFrog’s carbon footprint.
- Coordinate independent assurance of key impact data in LeapFrog’s annual impact report.

**About You**

**Qualifications **and **Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related quantitative field with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in investment management / finance.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and experience in logical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and with teams across multiple geographies.
- Good interpersonal skills, and able to build good working relationships with business counterparts.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, database, table design, joins, data aggregation, data validation, etc.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and S&P iLevel.
- Working Knowledge in accounting and finance.
- Strong desire to learn or work in impact and environmental, social and governance (ESG) focussed investments.
