Singapore Common Purpose Full time

Are you our next Projects Leader? Someone who can lead diverse teams across international locations to deliver an exciting range of projects? Who can persuade people from all walks of life to share their time, knowledge and experience with our participants? And who wants to deliver genuine impact?

We are currently looking for you, a dynamic and ambitious professional who shares our values and is passionate about leading people and projects.

Common Purpose is a global not-for-profit devoted to good leadership. We work with purpose to develop leaders who can cross cultural, institutional, and social boundaries. This enables them to solve complex problems both in organizations and in wider society. We deliver in-person and online leadership programmes for multiple generations of leaders, from students in universities to senior leaders in organizations and society, supporting them to develop the knowledge, skills and inspiration to cross boundaries and become more active and engaged citizens.

We are looking for someone with a strong ability to manage teams to deliver complex projects, meeting deadlines and delivering the highest possible quality. You and your teams will also be tasked with securing a large number of pro-bono speakers for our programmes.

This is a full-time permanent role, remotely based in Singapore as part of our global Delivery Team.

As our Projects Leader you will be responsible for the following areas of work, as well as leading project teams to do the same:

- Manage our leadership development programmes, ensuring quality and consistency of customer experience
- Create and deliver clear and timely project plans
- Source and brief a balanced range of speakers for our programmes
- Provide regular progress reports to clients, both internal and external, adapting to their needs
- Deliver programmes, both online and in-person (depending on your previous experience, this may be in either a facilitation or an event management role)
- Gather feedback and ensure this is actioned and incorporated into future programmes

To do this you will collaborate with Common Purpose colleagues globally (across different time zones, locations and teams), using systems and networks appropriately, efficiently and transparently

You will bring this experience with you:

- Managing multiple projects at a time (ideally in similar industries eg Higher Education, leadership or teaching, but all relevant experience will be considered)
- Leading teams (direct line management experience is desirable but not essential)
- Building and nurturing networks of people (previous experience of sourcing pro-bono speakers for events is desirable but not essential)
- Dealing with the ambiguity of shifting deadlines and requirements
- Managing stakeholders and their expectations - both internal and external
- Delivering success in a fast-paced environment

All applicants must also:

- Have excellent written English, oral communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting on the phone/video calls and in-person
- Be able and willing to travel for short periods of time (when restrictions allow) and at short notice and outside of normal working hours
- Be confident and proficient in the use of MS Office and Zoom (and ideally, project planning tools)

What we offer in return:

- A salary of between SGD $57,000-60,000 per annum dependent on experience
- 25 days of annual leave per annum
- A comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) supporting you in your work
- Headspace for work - mindfulness based mental health app
- Fast-paced but flexible environment - which will test and develop you
- Growth - you will be continually developing key skills and capabilities for your future through the role and our internal training and development programmes
- Impact - you will see the impact of your work as you and your teams deliver projects and programmes across the organization
- Purpose - the chance to work with a diverse range of colleagues across the world driven by the same mission
- Responsibility - you will take responsibility from day one and be given real accountability and ownership in your role
