Gaffney Cline is a world leading international advisory firm focused on providing integrated technical, commercial, and strategic advisory in petroleum and energy. Gaffney Cline advises a wide range of clients in Including subsurface resource exploration, development, and optimization, drilling and production, pipeline, refining and LNG projects throughout the world. Gaffney Cline is expanding its Carbon Management (CM) & Energy Transition (ET) offering globally.

Gaffney Cline’s business development team plays an essential role in positioning its brand and maturing a pipeline of client engagements. You’ll be accountable for growing the company revenue, including in the fast-expanding energy transition space within Asia Pacific region
As a Business Development Manager - ASEAN (Gaffney Cline), you will be responsible for:
- Building and developing relationships to establish the company’s portfolio as a leader energy advisory in ASEAN
- Increasing company revenues and profitability and identifying opportunity for organic and inorganic growth to Gaffney Cline business.
- Working with the project development and project finance sectors to identify emerging business opportunities as related to energy transition
- Originating and assisting in delivery of advisory jobs, working closely with Gaffney Cline colleagues in ASEAN and globally
- Developing proposals, managing the execution and delivery of committed outcomes within budget and schedule.
- Participating in industry events, within an agreed annual business plan, to expand Gaffney Cline’s brand.
**Fuel your passion**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have degree/MBA in a relevant discipline is preferred
- Have minimum 10 years of sales and commercial experience in Oil & gas sector - Upstream
- Have general experience working at an International Oil company or independent Oil company in a technical or commercial capacity.
- Have a working knowledge of the process of evaluating Reserves and Resources
- Have a working knowledge and/or experience in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of the oil, gas and LNG project developments
- Experience in oil and gas sector joint venture structures, farm in/farm out transactions and merger & acquisition
- Have a sound working knowledge of the concept of the Energy Transition
- A highly effective communicator with proven presentation skills and able to influence
- Have past or current leadership experience
- Have ability to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplined teams
- Being highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
