Trust and Safety Engagement Lead

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in a customer-facing analytical role in cyber-security, Trust and Safety, Policy, business strategy, or related roles (e.g., Network Forensics Analyst, Threat Intelligence Analyst).
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience with project management.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience using data management tools.
- Experience managing strategic programs that span organizations and have a direct business impact.
- Ability to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Korean, or Chinese to engage with stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills, with an interest in innovation and technology.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to key opinion formers, journalists, and executives internally and externally.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. **Responsibilities**:

- Identify online safety engagements in order to build long-term trust and advocacy with experts to build trust and influence regulatory negotiations.
- Lead and systematize internal risk-insights sharing by integrating into internal data management tools by transposing regulatory, risk and partner insights from external engagements.
- Lead external engagement efforts for content safety issues, (e.g., misinformation, disinformation, content moderation, information quality and ads safety).
- Lead data management efforts to development and maintenance of online safety experts and key opinion former databases.
- Lead projects and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with senior stakeholders from GAPP, legal, marketing and communications, and more.
