**About the Job**

The Global Retail Director is one of the most critical and rewarding roles within the Supernova business. You will be at the forefront of our global expansion, driving the retail partnerships portfolio for our brands. We are looking for a superstar to own the strategy, implementation and growth of wholesale across all supernova brands. You'll be challenged to push boundaries, make a significant difference in leading the brand strategies across our global market across retail, distributors, travel retail and more. You will create and drive the retail strategy aligned with the brand strategy for each brand.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and implement our retail expansion globally, across both physical retail and ecommerce store partnerships.
- You will be accountable for Wholesale P&L and budget, continuously driving growth across our new and existing retail channels, ensuring you track and monitor targets across all partners.
- Responsible for leading, developing and implementing each brand retail strategy, bringing each brand to greater heights. This includes but isn't limited to samples, sets, GWP and visual merchandising.
- Provide thought leadership to your team and the business ; sharing consumer insights that influence strategy within retail channels
- Together with the Global Marketing team you will strategise on product offerings and category opportunities within the retail channel, developing retailer focused strategies, customized tools and creative assets. You will ensure exemplary execution with a test & learn approach.
- Develop retailer specific marketing calendars, including activation plans covering both pre-launch and post launch.
- Complete ownership of internal and external team communication of all pertinent retailer product information.
- Build and Maintain strong relationships with existing and new retail partners to develop business strategies, gain alignment and excite them to support our brands with programs leveraging the strength of key platforms (sampling, dotcom, social, loyalty).
- Analyse and track performance results from our retail partners, possess an agile attitude to adjust approach accordingly and provide ongoing recommendations for increasing sales and improving the efficiency of marketing campaigns and messages, and campaigns with wholesale partners.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience building and growing new retail partnerships.
- Experience owning and driving retail accounts and driving sales within retail partnerships.
- Ability to think outside the box and a passion to try new things
- 6 years+ of sales/business development experience
- Strong business management and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively and autonomously
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Experience in international markets - US and Europe is mandatory
- Experience within the beauty industry is an advantage.
