The Dean's Office, Faculty of Science, is looking for a qualified graphic designer to develop creative content and visual concepts to communicate ideas that are informative and inspirational. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -Create and design print and digital collateral (long
- and short-form).Conceptualise visuals based on project brief/requirements.Test graphics across various media and retouch/manipulate images.Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.Deliver multiple projects with high quality, on schedule and within design specifications.Web technical development and design.Photography/videography and post-editing.Logistics support for key events and other projects.Other ad hoc and administrative support as required.Qualifications & Requirements
Related diploma with 4-5 years of proven graphic design experience. Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and the web.Competence in design software and technologies such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, InDesign, Premiere Pro, XD etc. Familiarity with After Effects is advantageous.Competence in Word Press.Creative flair, with a keen eye for details.Able to work methodically and meet deadlines.More Information
