Resource Manager

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and dynamic resource manager to manage the overall resource and training needs in Risk Consulting/FS Advisory.
Through this role we aim to increase staff productivity with more equitable assignment of workload across resource pool, increase staff deployment across pillars, ensure that staff are adequately trained and cross-trained across pillars for service delivery, taking into consideration staff career progression preferences; thereby increasing fungibility of staff across services, as well as improving work-life balance and job satisfaction of staff.
**The role includes:
- Responsible for overall resource management and training assignments in Risk Consulting/FS Advisory.
- Planning for resources assignments taking into consideration different factors such as staff availability and competencies, career preferences; and project timeline and skillset requirements.
- Daily communication and collaboration with stakeholders across Risk Consulting/FS Advisory and the wider Advisory group on resourcing needs to ensure effective use of staff.
- Reviewing, approving and deconflicting resource bookings.
- Acting as the escalation point for resource issues and provide guidance/decisions on resource solutions
- Preparing and presenting relevant resource management information, statistics and insights to aid resourcing and business planning decisions.
- Mapping out competencies across Risk Consulting/FS Advisory for timely resource assignments to projects in accordance to skillset requirements.
- Working with various stakeholders, Human Resource Business Partner and Talent Acquisition team on recruitment matters.
- Working with Learning and Development team on training program roll outs, as well as assignment of training modules and tracking of completion.
- Working with Risk Management team on the assignment and tracking of completion of mandatory Risk Management trainings.
- Ensuring that the Resource Management system is kept updated of project/leave/training bookings.
- Facilitating the continuous improvement of resource management processes by proactively taking the lead on ad-hoc projects as required.
- Be proactive in the identification of improvement points on resource management and execute improvement/change management plans.
- Understands Advisory business and Advisory skillsets and competencies.
- Ability to work with Resource Management system (E.g. Retain).
- Ability to communicate and work with senior members of staff.
- Excellent problem solving, relationship management and communications skills.
- Confident, assertive and have the ability to prioritize and manage both the workload of themselves and the team within which they operate.
- Ability to influence strategic resourcing, training and recruitment decisions through presentation of information that is timely and informative.
- Proactive self-starter and ability to work without direction/mínimal guidance and take responsibility for own work and that of their team.
- Resilient and capable of working in a challenging, continuously changing environment.
