IT Operations manages the IT infrastructure and supporting services that are critical for HSBC employees and customers, such as cost-efficient hardware, system software, middleware and databases, data centres, voice and data networks, ATMs, desktops and other devices.

The area comprises five functions: Client Services, Enterprise Services and Architecture, Data Centre and Service Management, Relationship Management, Project Management and Risk and Administration. Collectively, these areas define and deliver HSBC’s technology strategy to support the Group’s goals.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Director, Program Management, BaaS Platforms**.

**Role Purpose**

The Director of Proram Management oversees the management and coordination of E2E delivery of the Platforms program including planning, organizing, and executing against cross-organizational activities and deliverables in conjunction with Business and Transformation. The role also manages organization wide efforts to include facilitation, process, program and organizational improvements.

The Program Director is responsible for creating program roadmaps and schedules, leading scrum of scrums, collaborating across the cross-organizational teams, managing risks, managing financials, communicating status, and documenting all aspects of the program. This role will work closely with the other Technical Product Owners and devliery managers to devlelop IT strategy, including the vision, roadmap, and operation of IT.

Demonstrate leadership on Regulatory & Compliance matters. Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with section B.1.2 of the Group Operations FIM.

**Observation of Internal Controls**

Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimising relations with regulators
