Manager, Cost Management

**Responsibilities**:

- To develop/improve cost management strategies and processes.
- Partner with Service End Users to drive budget and forecast exercises.
- Perform data analysis to aid Service End Users in estimating tender sum and provisional sum requirements.
- Partner with Service End Users to establish payment milestone and claim processes for major projects.
- Issue and manage Purchase Orders till its closures.
- Worked with Service End Users to put up justification for contract award increase, where applicable.
- Manage payment claims to ensure all claims are properly validated, processed timely and all spendings are tracked closely against the budget and contract sum.
- Monitor all spending and follow up closely with Finance on any budget reforecast that may be required.
- Follow up closely with Finance on the monthly accruals and variance explanations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Business Support Lead.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction or Equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field with proven track records
- Experience in cost management for major project
- Technical knowledge and experience in Quantity Surveying duties
- Cost and finance management
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Able to work independently, proactively and is self
- motivated
