The Director of Travel & Airlines will lead a team of account managers and business developers responsible for securing new clients of Medium to Enterprise level Travel merchant relationships across the Asia Pacific region. Worldline Digital Commerce division focuses its sales efforts on high growth vertical markets such as: Travel, Software, Retail, Gaming and (e) Publishing.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop trusted partnerships with Globally focused Travel businsses within the region and build long-term relationships at a senior level to ensure Worldione is a highly considered payment processor for their online business.
- Maximize growth and deliver additional revenue streams by up-selling new Travel products and value added services.
- Responsible for all commercial activities including contract creation, pricing negotiations and ultimately achieve revenue targets.
- Use data analysis to identify areas where Worldline can drive the clients’ revenue growth.
- Become the established internal Travel expert within the region to support broader gorwth aspirations of the team
- A strong commercial drive, combined with a market & client focus
- Skilled negotiator and effective communicator
- Energetic personality with a positive approach and eagerness to develop his/her knowledge and skills
- Self starter; result driven and taking initiatives
- Flexible, able to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- Capability to build relationships
- Proven sales track record in Travel
**Job Requirements**:
- At least 8yrs experience in payments
- Commercial experience in Travel, payments, e-commerce, or revenue management role is highly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience and success in leading teams across distributed geographies
- University degree
- Mandatory requirement fluency in written and spoken business English
- Willing to travel on average 1 week per mth
- Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred
