Reporting to: Regional Trade Director / Country Head

Experience: Minimum 5 years in container shipping, ideally in

Trade

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Formulate and implement Transpacific trade strategies (USWC, USEC, Canada)
- Monitor trade performance (volume, yield, space allocation) and adjust pricing as needed
- Manage carrier relations, slot agreements, and sailing schedules
- Analyze market trends and provide weekly/monthly trade performance reports
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and overseas agents for cargo flow optimization
- Lead trade promotions and customer targeting campaigns
- Prepare and present business cases for new services or adjustments

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in shipping, preferably with a carrier or NVOCC in TP trade
- Strong understanding of US FMC regulations, containerized trade dynamics, and yield management
- Proven negotiation and commercial skills
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership ability
- Good command of English & Chinese _(spoken and written) _; additional regional languages are a plus
- Able to travel occasionally
