We are looking for a Public Relations and Communications Lead who can cultivate a robust industry network, establish strong relationships with reporters and media outlets in the Crypto, DeFi, and NFT sectors, and significantly enhance our exposure to global media.

The primary mode of communication with our community is in English, so you should demonstrate excellent written and speaking skills in this language. Any other international languages would be a bonus.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop a comprehensive marketing communications plan, encompassing strategy, goals, budget, and tactics.
- Formulate a media relations strategy aimed at securing prominent placements in print, broadcast, and online media.
- Coordinate all public relations activities with the objective of enhancing brand awareness.
- Direct the social media team to actively engage audiences across traditional and emerging media platforms.
- Utilize existing media relationships and establish new contacts within the business and industry media.
- Generate and manage media inquiries and interview requests.
- Create content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations.
- Author original research-based articles for publication in industry magazines.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis.
- Evaluate ongoing opportunities for sponsorships and advertising.
- Foster relationships with thought leaders to increase industry awareness.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends that impact clients and provide appropriate recommendations for communication strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated professional experience in public relations within the blockchain/crypto field.
- Track record of successfully designing and executing public relations campaigns at local and national levels.
- Strong connections with local and national business and industry media outlets.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Event planning experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Journalist background is highly preferred.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
