**Position: Finance & HR Officer**
The Danish Embassy in Singapore is part of the Danish Foreign Service. The Embassy is an ambitious, high-paced and dynamic workplace with 20 staff strength.
We are looking for a Finance & HR Officer who is experienced and well versed in managing accounting & HR activities including payroll, bank and accounts reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, employee records and recruitment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial and human resource transactions and procedures.
**Duties & Responsibilities:
**FINANCE FUNCTION**
- Ensure up to date bookkeeping in accounting system and document filing.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including accounts receivables, accounts payables
- related transactions
- Prepare bank reconciliation and reconciliation of accounts on monthly and quarterly basis
- Manage the budgeting process to allocate the budget, monthly and quarterly reconciliations and forecasting
- Manage the user access and funds in the embassy’s bank account
- Manage GST refund claims
- Managing accounting processing for posted staff
- Updating of databases related to posted staff
- Submission of claims for GPCL, NS portal and any relevant government schemes
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned
**HUMAN RESOURCE FUNCTION**
- Payroll processing and CPF submission
- IRAS and IR21 submissions
- Handles employment contracts, on-boarding and off-boarding process
- Handles the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting ads.
- Updating HR employee database
- Light admin duties
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned
**Competencies**:
- 2-3 years of accounting & human resource experience
- Experience with working in an embassy environment is an advantage but not a requirement
- Experience with internet banking payments, accounting software Navision
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint.
- Possesses an analytical mind and good problem solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Team player, with strong interpersonal skills; good communication skills and contributes to a good work environment
- Up to date on IRAS & MOM guidelines is an advantage
**We offer**:
- Permanent, full-time employment on a contract based on the relevant legally binding labour market rules of Singapore
