Your new responsibilities
- This position of Transport Logistics Specialist is to organize and monitor the transport orders
- Support the Transport Logistics Operations with the Manager, in terms of costing/RFQ, special urgent orders, and first level of escalation
- The current dynamic situation in supply chain means there is a need to strengthen the team to overcome the challenges in terms of workload and providing the prompt response to the internal stakeholders
- Create, organize and monitor transport orders to freight forwarders and transport providers
- Place local transport orders for local Purchase Orders to nominated freight forwarders (logistics providers)
- Support the Transport Logistics Manager
- Local transport logistics management
- Contact person to the local transport logistics providers (first level for escalation) and manage local freight costs
- Organize special local hot top urgent / emergency shipments
- Transport network management (e.g. shipping schedules)
- Support global RFQ´s (led by purchasing)
- Execute local single RFQ´s (local market analysis)
- SAP Key User in Logistics Execution
- Local costs management for transport costs and duties
- Drive fact-finding to optimize transportation processing
- Optimize the outbound and inbound transport orders
- Improve the freight costs controlling and claim

What we look for
- Diploma in Transport Logistics or related profession
- Good knowledge in Transport Logistics, Export-/Import business, foreign trade, customs affairs
- Good knowledge in MS Word and Advance MS Excel
- At least 5 year professional experience in Transport Logistics Management
- Customer service oriented with a positive and polite disposition
- Preferably with semiconductor industry working experience
