As a Logistics Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing logistics strategies that ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. You will work closely with different departments to create tailored logistics solutions that improve the overall supply chain performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Logistics Optimization**:Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to improve the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
Analyze current logistics processes and identify areas for improvement or cost savings.
Collaborate with internal teams to assess logistics needs and design solutions.
- **Supply Chain Coordination**:Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, transportation providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of shipping schedules and inventory levels.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**:Use data analysis tools to monitor and improve logistics performance.
Prepare regular reports on logistics operations, including costs, performance metrics, and process improvements.
- **Vendor Management**:Establish and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers.
Negotiate contracts with carriers, shippers, and warehouses to secure competitive pricing and services.
- **Problem-Solving**:Address any logístical issues, such as delays or inventory discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
Provide on-the-ground solutions to optimize operations and prevent future disruptions.
- **Compliance and Risk Management**:Ensure that all logistics activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Mitigate potential risks by identifying and addressing potential logístical disruptions.
- **Technology Integration**:Leverage technology, such as Logistics Management Systems (LMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS), to streamline operations.
- **Customer Support**:Work closely with customer service teams to ensure customer orders are delivered as promised, providing updates and managing expectations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Railway Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights for operational improvements.
- Familiarity with logistics software and tools such as TMS, WMS, or LMS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Master’s degree in Railway Engineering or related field.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD).
- Working Location : One North
- Occasional travel may be required for site visits or vendor meetings.
- The role may require occasional extended hours during peak seasons or project deadlines.
