**PURPOSE**
- Further strengthen the relationship of our Japanese Key accounts management as a local contact at senior level.
- Retain and grow the portfolio of accounts, nurture these key relationships over time and deliver strategic value to ONE.
- Leading the account planning process through collaboration with internal ONE teams, ensuring that key account needs and expectations are clearly defined and met.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Act as the escalation point of contact in event of service development/recovery at senior level for the Japanese Key Accounts.
- Coordinate senior Japanese Accounts visits/strategic meetings with ONE management teams.
- Strategize and lead account planning, game plan.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecast of the portfolios via established tools (e.g. Sales Cloud)
- Lead & manage the performance of JOA team in ONE Singapore Agency office.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree in Maritime Studies/Shipping-related disciplines is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in container shipping.
- High proficiency in Japanese (Spoken & Written) is a must to handle Japanese customers.
- Background knowledge of the Japanese accounts based in area of coverage.
- Eloquent communicator with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven sales execution ability, problem solving and negotiation skills.
- High level of passion to drive excellence.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify market opportunities.
- Highly motivated individual who is result-oriented and resilient.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
