Holt Executive is supporting a global leader in the connectivity sector. An organisation that provides leading voice and high-speed data communications solutions to a number of markets across the globe.
We are currently recruiting a **Pre Sales Engineer **with proven telecoms sector experience who will present and demonstrate the technology to technical and non-technical audiences. The position holder will work closely with Regional Sales teams in their efforts to grow both indirect and direct revenues.
**Key Responsibilities for Pre Sales Engineer - Telecommunications**:
- Work with sales teams, partners and governments to define, shape and understand technical requirements
- Deliver written technical proposals and costs for professional services to the commercial team for customer acceptance
- Assist sales with partner and customer engagement to develop clear technology strategy/roadmaps related to the development and use of company services.
- Provide technical support for customer demonstrations, trials and opportunities, engaging with SMEs to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
- Provide written information for bids, RFP and tender proposals to a high standard.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations on integrated solutions, articulating benefits to customers
**Key Experience required for Pre Sales Engineer - Telecommunications**:
- Ability to articulate technical capability to a value proposition
- Can present and demonstrate the technology to technical and non-technical audiences
- Desire to decipher and resolve customer technical issues directly or through the engagement of in-house technical expertise
- Technically proficient with excellent knowledge of IP networking and satellite communications with practical hands-on experience
- Formal documented technical qualification/s in either telecommunications, data communications, satellite communications or network engineering
