Pre-sales Engineer

With a regional headquarters in Singapore, we are recruiting a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with our sales team, channel partners and customers to support pre-sales activities including client visits, solution identification, solution design, product demonstrations and Proof-of[1]Concept (POC) exercises
- Maintain a strong understanding of the Company’s solution offerings and train the sales team and channel partners
- Must demonstrate a high level of understanding of our products and services and communicate effectively with customers
- Keep up to date with recent technical advances and applies industry knowledge to Quantum products and processes
- Take an innovative approach to problem solving and lead efforts to develop new approaches; and
- Identify risks and understand how to manage them in order to avoid delays and shortcomings as well as to evaluate proposed design and appreciate its system-wide implications and consequences
- Lead conversations with customers/team members in ASEAN as needed
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree in either an IT related discipline or equivalent experience
- More than 3 years experience in a customer facing pre-sales/product role
- Experience with Enterprise Storage, Data Protection, Video Surveillance and/or Media & Entertainment (M&E) solution design and proposal
- Working knowledge of Linux, Mac and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM or any other form of virtualization software is a plus
**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- Commission pay
