Job Scope:
- **Financial Management**:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain financial records.
- **Taxation and Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST returns.
- Liaise with external auditors for annual audit processes.
- **Administrative Support**:
- Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Assist in coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Manage office supplies and equipment maintenance.
- **Human Resources Support**:
- Assist in HR functions such as payroll processing, leave management, and employee records maintenance.
- Coordinate recruitment processes and onboard new employees.
- **Communication and Correspondence**:
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Draft and proofread business correspondence and documents.
- **Software Proficiency**:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) for financial management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks.
- Ability to learn and adapt to company-specific software systems.
- **Marine Industry Knowledge**:
- Basic understanding of marine industry terminology and operations preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to industry-specific requirements.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and departments to achieve organizational goals.
