As a Customer Order & Billing Specialist, you are responsible to manage the timesheet/ billing system ensuring the integrity of the data and reporting from the system together with the production of accurate bills and month end reporting. Ensure that the flow of information from the system to SAP is accurate and timely. Engage with the Collection teams and systems to ensure optimum debt collection. Interact with various Business groups in order to ensure the smooth operation of the Accounts Receivable function.

As a Customer Order & Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Handle invoicing from time/ billing system and posting in SAP as required
- Record all new projects including charge rates into time/ billing system
- Load and maintain all Client Master records in the system and ensure that the information is mirrored in SAP.
- Coordinate month end closing for Revenue Recognition, including deferred revenue and Journal preparation
- Ensure that any audits requests are met and responded to in a timely manner.
- Ensure that information in SAP and the billing system is accurate and fully aligned
- Assist with collections utilizing the collection systems and interfacing appropriate teams
- Interact with Collections teams about received payments
- Prepare and deliver relevant reports

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Preferably Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting with at least 5 years of experience in Revenue Recognition or strong Accounts payable/ receivable experience
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Experience with SAP
- Able to present and implement process improvements to the billing process
- Able to organize and prioritize activities under tight deadlines and with strong attention to detail
- Build relationships internally and coach peers and billing team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills Non-Technical
- Evaluate and present process improvements to Management
- Comfortable communicating with numbers, graphs and charts
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Service-oriented, responsive, collegial, and hardworking with a “get the job done” attitude.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as SAP and other finance-related software
