Daraz is now looking for a Global Human Resources Director to build a strong central team designing and rolling out consistent and industry leading HR practices across the group. The role will have a particular focus on culture and engagement, talent and performance management, leadership development and automation across the HR stack.

The Global Human Resources Director is responsible for developing and executing the human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization and in close partnership with the country HR teams.

The responsibilities of the Global Human Resources Director and the team include:

- Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations.
- Provide overall leadership and strategic roadmaps to the HR function by overseeing all HR areas including but not limited to talent acquisition, performance management, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits globally.
- Function as a strategic business advisor/consultant to the senior management of each business function across the group.
- Develop strategies to externally build a brand image that establishes our status as an employer of choice and demonstrates adherence to best practices.
- Establish an effective partnership with the leadership team to continuously drive culture, digitization and transformation
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure productive Employee Relations and compliance are consistently maintained, in accordance with local legislation in a multi-cultural environment.
- Design and roll out the next level of automation of HR activities (e.g., talent acquisition system, revamp of the performance management system)

**Essential skills and experience**:

- At least **8-9 years of experience in managing multi-disciplinary HR teams **.
- A proven HR leader with **strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills **and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with senior colleagues in all parts of the organization
- Possesses deep expertise in **policy and process setting / re-design across all HR areas**:

- Has a **strategic mindset **and is able to see the bigger picture and link HR strategies to the overall long term and short-term business objectives
- Experienced in various HR **digital systems i **ncluding selection, customization, roll out and change management
- Is passionate about attracting, **developing and retaining diverse and high performing talent **through a positive company culture and effective employer branding
- Is **able to integrate **through understanding local needs and demonstrating sounds judgement on what policy and tools should be group-wide vs local or localized
- Experienced in **continuously driving enhanced effectiveness and efficiency of HR solutions **to achieve operational excellence for the function and across the organisation
