The Asia Pacific region for CooperVision has been growing rapidly and a strong contributor to the ongoing success of the global business. The South-East Asia (SEA) region is part of Asia Pacific and comprises full country businesses in Singapore and Malaysia as well as the Asia Emerging Markets, which include currently distributor businesses in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. There are significant opportunities to grow these and other markets for CooperVision.

The SEA Distribution & Logistics Manager will lead the distribution and logistics function, with a strong focus on day-to-day logistics operations management; working with our appointed third party logistics partners; supply chain management of products from our manufacturing sites; forecasting and budgeting; and managing a small team.

**Essential Functions**

**Logistics operation management**
- Day to day management of our warehousing & distribution operation to support our exceptional service level with our customers in Southeast Asia (SEA) region.
- Develop and manage compliance and consistency to established SOPs, Work instructions, Quality and Regulatory requirements
- Leverage established lean management or continuous improvement methodologies to drive process improvements, with strong accountability for quantifiable and sustainable outcomes
- Accountable for operational and financial KPIs

**Managing third party relations and contracts**
- Represent the company as country lead for all 3rd party communication
- Enforce our contractual rights with all our 3rd party partners, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Lead and drive contract reviews and negotiations with our 3rd party partners. This includes working with internal partners on RFQs, adhoc quotations and contract amendments for timely execution and closure.
- Ensure proper document control for all subcontracted work
- Advocate adherence to corporate quality management systems and internal compliance standard (e.g., SOX, ISO13485, GDP-MD, etc. )
- Ensure compliance to Coopervision internal code of conduct when dealing with 3rd party partners

**Supply Chain Management**
- Manager our inventory of Finished Goods and any other materials under the ownership of the company in Southeast Asia region, to meet market demands and inventory management KPIs
- Lead S&OP work processes to maintain optimum inventory cycles, product availability and forecast accuracy
- Establish close communication with global and regional partners for order status and shipment monitoring
- Responsible for inventory accuracy of more than 30,000 SKUs across all markets in the SEA region
- Charged with responsibility to enforce corporate inventory management policies in the SEA region

**Operational strategizing**
- As a key member of the SEA leadership team, you play an important role of supporting SEA countries’ growth targets with class leading service levels and distribution solutions
- Ensure our partners demonstrate our core values and are aligned to our goals and strategies
- Drive the development and execution of key supply chain and distribution strategies for the SEA region
- Support the SEA region and country leaders in the development of their long-range strategic plans

- Create and maintain conducive environment for cross functional partnership

**Budget & Forecast management**
- Ownership of distribution budget
- Accountable to stakeholders for the management of various costs items
- Adopt and demonstrate strong P&L management abilities, deliver timely and quality financial budgeting and forecasting and advocate strong costs improvement mindset

**People management**
- Own and build on the relationship with your team members & peers
- Provide timely and adequate coaching, mentoring and development for your team
