Head of Infrastructure, Apac

In this role, you will be responsible for a dual role encompassing Infrastructure leadership for the APAC region and management oversight for resources in ASEAN (excluding Indonesia). You will provide IT Infrastructure and Operations leadership to the FMC businesses that operate in APAC.

The role is responsible for all Infrastructure and Operations requirements in region, and involves collaborating with the APAC IT director, corporate IT, and APAC IT to ensure delivery of key projects and back-office technologies that support business operations. The role will have also solid line or dotted line reports in all sub-regions.

As the IT Manager, ASEAN, you will provide management oversight for all resources focused on IT service delivery and systems support in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Philippines. The position provides guidance for IT leads and IT consultants operating in the cluster.

More specifically, your key duties and responsibilities include:
**Infrastructure and Operations**
- Provide leadership to the APAC IT Organization to deploy and leverage global infrastructure capabilities
- Work with Corporate IT to optimize asset light infrastructure solutions in the region
- Ensure that infrastructure monitoring tasks associated with local sites are scheduled and completed
- Provide management and support for local and corporate managed infrastructure
- Ensure 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support for workspace enablement products and services
- Align with and contribute to corporate technical roadmaps, technology initiatives, and projects
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on IT change management processes

**Regional Infrastructure**
- Ensure that direct and dotted line reports [all sub-regions]: Provision and support APAC based cloud infrastructure; Manage service delivery for private cloud environments supporting PaaS and SaaS workload; Provide level 2/3 technical support services for network, server, and storage environment; Cloud capacity management and forecasting

**Compliance, Systems Security & Controls**
- Work with Corporate IT to develop and update security standards and controls
- Ensure that all APAC locations:

- Understand and adhere to FMC I.T. policies & standards. Make sure all sites are compliant with all internal controls, audit, and legislative requirements
- Ensure that site systems are kept to current levels of IT compliance
- Maintain business continuity and resumption planning for all computer systems and infrastructure
- Maintain accurate IT inventories
- Ensure that all FMC Users are onboarded and understand acceptable use of IT resources and IT Policies
- Conduct perioding training and retraining
- Support internal audit activities during preparation and execution

**IT Management**
- Responsible for IT infrastructure personnel in Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, & Malaysia
- Mentor and supervise site IT leads, contractors, & consultants
- Promote FMC’s Culture of Safety.
- Liaise with country leadership and the IT business partnership team to align IT and business needs
- Collaborate with various stakeholders on IT Budget management
- Maintain monthly forecast, identify opportunities to reduce cost
- Regional infrastructure vendor management - Maintenance contract & service agreement reviews & negotiations
- Work with the APAC IT Director on infrastructure service delivery in the region

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**Education**
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering or other management related disciplines.

**Experience**:

- 15+ years experience in an information technology role spanning IT Operations, systems support and project management
- 5 years managerial or supervisory experience
- Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer focus and collaboration skills.
- Cloud server deployment: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Operating systems and server management experience
- Network Engineering and Cybersecurity experience
- Working knowledge of hardware and software components and concepts
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Project management experience
- Ability to work in ambiguous and stressful situations.
