Apac Head of Infrastructure

**A. **JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The head of IT Infrastructure is responsible for the implementation and operations of all technology infrastructures which includes data center, network and server services, service monitoring, user support/help desk, workstation management, servers, storage and related softwares. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure.

In particular he/she manages the infrastructure teams located in 7 main sites (India, Singapore, China, Japan, Philippines, Australia, Thailand). The incumbant is in charge of ensuring the consistency of the various geographies and solutions implemented / rolled out on the related perimeter. Reports out of line situations and possible solutions to fix the issues. All solutions proposed are in line with the Group strategic decisions and roadmap.

**B. **AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES**:

- Collaborates with the Infrastructure head quarter **C **enter **O **f **E **xcellence (COE) teams to implement the group IT infrastructure and IT security standards and procedures in the supported region.
- Consolidates the shared service operations in Philippines and India to improve the service and reduce the operational costs.
- Participates to the global group decision process for the infrastructure standards to be adopted.
- Forecasts and manages IT Infrastructure budgets
- Conducts the Azure and AWS cloud migration and cloud transformation aside the on-premise infrastructure decommissioning.
- Coordinates the MPLS, vpn-ipsec networks, mobile and VOIP group solutions as well as the etwork transformation projects for the production sites and the APAC retail locations.
- Coordinates the middleware and the devops team for production implementations (Az-devops, Event-hub, IBM Mq & ODM, PgSQL).
- Manages the computer fleet, the collaborative solutions and the related transformation projects (win10/11, Ivanti/InTune, Patching, McAfee, Cortex, O365, Gsuite)
- Ensures proper Database operations for sql, pgsql, progressdb and oracle environments
- Improves the backup/restore procedures for the region (cloud and on-premise vmware nvironments with azure backup, appranix solutions, netbackup, druva and veeam)
- Deploys the SOC operation for the Amera region.
- Provides support for Information security topics like: PCI, data classification, GDRP compliance.
- Provides support for security user awareness training and support.

**D. **TECHNICAL SKILLS AND SOFT SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE**
- Professional background in Infrastructure of more than 10years with proven success of team management both hierarchical and functional
- Strong technical knowledge
- Strong ability in problems analysis as well as problem solving
- Solid experience with above mentioned technical solutions
- Ability to simplify complex problems and explain them to non technical populations
- Fluent in English. Italian and French are a plus
- Excellent presentation skills
- Understanding of compliance requirements and related risks
- Knowledge of the Infrastructure market and solutions offered
- Active watch of the various solutions available
- Ability to network in the organization
- Adhesion to the Group values
- Full compliance with the Group guidelines related to security standards
