Data Architect

InfoCepts provides end-to-end data & analytics solutions to commercial and public sector customers in various markets across the globe with a concentration in the US, EMEA, and the APAC regions. InfoCepts invests in four core competencies— Cloud and Data Engineering (CDE), Analytics and Data Management (ADM), Business Consulting (BC) and Service Management (SM)—to enable continued access to global markets and unmet needs. The position is responsible to build-out and roll-out solutions, lead advisory engagements, respond to proposals, develop & manage the center of excellence, lead technology roadmaps, in-house capability building, and market research activities.

This role will design and build data architecture for an enterprise. Major responsibilities would also include to create high level and low level design for data integration framework, translate the business requirements into technical prototypes, help developers in developing the data integration pipelines, perform peer reviews of the code, own the technical delivery of the DI part from inception to the deployment, as well as the technical consultation for existing or new clients during initial phase of any initiative and help in proposals and pre-sales initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Provide Advisory and Consulting Services **- Drive and execute consulting engagements in areas of Data Governance, Data Catalog, Data Management for InfoCepts clients. Support pre-sales activities including engaging prospects, conducting workshops, developing point of views/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, engaging partners, and supporting sales and marketing enablement.
- **Architect and Design Solutions - **Implement Enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality frameworks, operating model and data-culture transformation roadmap. Architect and Design modern, high-performance, secure, self-service, adoption solutions incorporating people, process, and technology levers. Establish data as a valued enterprise asset.
- **Identify and Exploit New Technologies for New and Existing Accounts - **Contribute to Centers of Excellence (COEs) to further the technical and functional capabilities in the core solutions, platforms. Proactively maintain market trends, drive innovations and technology evaluations, engage teams and customers to determine top challenges. Lead key engagements to co-create and support successful delivery of InfoCepts solutions.
- **Systematically Develop and Maintain Offerings **- Support offering development and lead its pilot implementation. Create implementation methodologies, processes, templates are defined, enhanced, and internalized for the prioritized solutions.
- **Provide Advisory, Sales, and Marketing Support **- Support pre-sales activities including engaging prospects, conducting workshops, developing point of views/solutions/scoping, writing proposals, engaging partners, and supporting sales and marketing enablement.
- **Build Capacity and Develop Talent for the Competency Center **- Coach and mentor talent, manage flex and matrixed resources in the competency center. Anchor and mentor architects who are associated with ADM. Run CoPs (Community of Practitioners) to support research and expertise sharing.
- **Contribute to Organizational Strategy **- Provide thought leadership in the market, establish and run innovation labs, support GTM partnerships with channel partners, lead prioritized initiatives.
- Working with ETL & BI Developers to ensure all the required data pipeline has been built for BI Use and defining the required Logical View at the Snowflake level

**What is Expected**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master’s degree is a plus)
- Demonstrated continued learning through one or more relevant certifications or related methods
- Strong experience (e.g. 10+ years) on Data Modelling, Data Processing (ETL), SQL and BI
- Understanding of the Retail Business end to end and data flows
- Well-versed with the DataStage, Data Modelling, Snowflake & Shell Scripting
- Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes for a fast-growing team
- Strong interpersonal skills
