**Responsibilities**:

- Define data architecture framework, standards and principles, including modelling, metadata, security, reference data and master data.
- Define reference architecture for project teams to follow, create and improve the data platforms and systems.
- Architect scalable data processing and analytics solutions for streaming, batch and data APIs.
- Design and architect cloud (or hybrid cloud with on-premises) data integration solution.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database platform and provide solution for the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Familiar with different data transfers protocols and technologies.
- Design high level & detailed design to ensure that the solution delivers to the business needs and align to the data & analytics architecture principles and roadmap.
- Perform R&D and conduct PoC (proof-of-concept) for new data architecture solution.
- Familiar with data security practices and information security standards and to establish the process for the data security control.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Math, Data Analytics or related field with at least 5 years of hands-on development experience.
- Experience in design and deliver system & data integration, data API and streaming/real time data handling.
- Knowledge in Big Data Platform such as Hadoop, Cloudera, Hortonworks, etc
- Expert in Programming language including Python, PysSpark, Scala, SQL, Linux shell scripting.
- Experience in handling data and system integration.
- Experience in Big Data Management, Metadata Management and Data Cataloguing.
- Experience in Cloud and on-premises database.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-driven, demonstrate critical thinking, team player & fast learner.
- Good technical writing skills.
