WE ARE LOOKING FOR.....

This person will actively contribute to implementation of AIA’s ESG strategy; develop and improve Environmental Performance Data reporting processes, ensuring alignment with Net Zero and the Science Based Targets initiative; support the development and implementation of AIA’s Net Zero strategy; support reporting to ESG ratings and indices.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Environmental Performance Data- Develop and operationalize Environmental Performance Data reporting, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices and the organisation’s strategic priorities, including Net Zero and the Science Based Targets initiative- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement data controls to ensure data accuracy and consistency of ESG data- Refine reporting process through system development and implementation

Net Zero and Science Based Targets initiative- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement AIA’s Net Zero strategy including baselining, identifying improvement and efficiency opportunities, and resource planning. This involves working extensively with Facilities across markets and BU teams to undertake baselining, target setting, aligning, data management and helping to decarbonize operations through implementation of levers (several)

Minimum Job Requirements:
- Background in sustainability such as environmental sciences, sustainable finance etc.- Strong understanding of global sustainability issues, and sustainable finance principles and practices- Experience working with various ESG ratings and indices such as CDP, DJSI and Hang Seng- Technical knowledge of greenhouse gas reporting processes, tools and accounting standards- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships across the business and at local and international level- Project management skills- Ability to work under pressure- Willingness to travel
