As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the Group Chief Financial Officer (“GCFO”) will coordinate with the Japan HQ for the relevant functions and report to the Group Chief Executive Officer and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the group of companies in Singapore and Malaysia.

The GCFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic corporate planning, job costing, Admin, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance, and private and institutional financing.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Transform the operation / planning capability in responsible departments to maximize group-wide efficiency & effectiveness, provide transparency to the management team

2. Orchestrate key departments in the budget, finance, and business planning

3. Work with key functions for developing and rolling business plan with managing financial goals, facilitate high-level decisions

4. Design and implement key investment strategies while sustaining financial stability

5. Lead necessary restructuring plans and/or corporate projects (M&A, strategic alliance, etc.)

6. Lead full range of finance & accounting functions (FP&A, Accounting, and Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Internal Controls) as well as other corporate functions to achieve the group’s short & mid-term goals

7. Identify and drive opportunities to cultivate capabilities in operation teams

8. Manage overall corporate risks and maintain governance code in the group, collaborating with Japan HQ legal department or external advisors/government bodies

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline

2. Previous working experience as head of finance, accounting, and/or corporate planning division in the same industry for at least 15 years

3. Hands-on experience with risk management, financial management software

4. Proficiency in Japanese is a must for communicating with counterparts in HQ Japan

5. Excellent knowledge of corporate financial law
