Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service while helping customers find products that meet their needs. The role involves assisting with sales, maintaining a neat and organized store environment, and promoting a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and offer assistance.
- Provide product knowledge to customers by explaining features, benefits, and usage of products.
- Assist customers in finding specific products, making product recommendations based on their needs, and answering any questions.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, seeking to resolve issues promptly.
- Process returns and exchanges following store policies.
- Help achieve sales targets and store goals by actively engaging with customers and encouraging product purchases.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments (cash, credit, debit) following store procedures.
- Assist in merchandising by arranging and replenishing products on shelves and display areas to maximize visual appeal and sales opportunities.
- Promote special offers, discounts, or sales events to customers to drive additional sales.
- Stay informed about product details, promotions, and upcoming releases to provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, including dusting shelves, organizing stock rooms, and maintaining product displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock or damaged products.
- Participate in receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and restocking products on the sales floor.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and ensuring they are well-maintained throughout the sales period.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Communicate customer feedback, inventory needs, and any other relevant information to management to improve store performance.
- Participate in store meetings and training sessions to stay updated on store policies, new products, and sales techniques.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills:

- Proficient in using cash registers, POS systems, or other retail management software.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating discounts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a busy retail environment.
