Singapore is a global bunkering hub, where ships from all over the world load fuel (bunkering). The Standards and Investigation - Marine Fuel (SIMF) department is tasked to promote and strengthen Singapore’s reputation as a safe and trusted bunkering port. It also safeguards the integrity and international reputation of the Port of Singapore with regard to bunkering.

You will assist in the formulation and implementation of policies as well as the

administration of bunkering-related licences as follows:
1. Administration of Bunker Surveyor Licences: To oversee all matters pertaining to processing and issuance of bunker surveyor licences, and to manage the directory of bunker surveyors.

2. Administration of Bunker Surveying Company Licences: To coordinate matters related to employment of bunker surveyors with the key executive officers of licensed bunker surveying companies, and to manage the directory of licensed bunker surveying companies.

3. Administration of Bunker Supplier and Bunker Craft Operator Licences: To coordinate with stakeholders on pre and post-renewal administrative follow-up matters.

5. Development of Bunker Services Management System: To coordinate and provide support to the development of the Bunker Services Management System, our in-house IT system for management of bunkering licences.

6. Assistance in engagement with industry stakeholders: To plan and support engagement sessions such as company visits, forum and dialogue sessions.

7. Compilation and basic analysis of statistics (such as fuel prices) for management reporting and administration of licensing related information on MPA website.

8. Assist in organising industry engagements / forums

9. Take meeting notes

**Job Requirement**

1. As the responsibilities require much interaction with both external and internal stakeholders, you should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as good writing and critical thinking skills.

2. In this fast-paced job, you should also have good time management skills and be able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

3. Work experience in maritime, shipping or logistics related companies would be an advantage.

4. Well versed with Microsoft Excel to support statistics compilation and analysis
