Senior Executive/assistant Manager, Research Admin

Roles & Responsibilites:
The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager shall be responsible to:
- Administer post-grant management, including grant variations and extensions, progress and final reporting and manpower headcount/budget verification in accordance with guidelines from funding agencies to grant audit requirements.- Provide support to Principal Investigators on grant budget phasing for successful grants.- Provide advise to Principal Investigators on research grants guidelines.- Provide updates on funding agencies’ requirements.- Maintain and update database of awarded research projects.- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned time to time.
Other functions of the role include managing/supporting inter-departmental matters pertaining to research grant at LKCMedicine:
- Intra-departmental queries on research grant information at RASS- School level grant information reporting to funding agencies
Troubleshoot ad-hoc issues related to grant matters- Work with Corporate Services departments at the school for research grant related matters- Liaise with NTU Research Support Office (RSO) and Talent Recruitment and Career Support (TRACS) for all research grant matters at LKCMedicine.- Ensure correct and proper hiring of research manpower for each competitive grant according to approved headcount and budget grant manpower.- Provide grant administrative support across the entire spectrum of post grant matters, including but not limit to progress reporting, manpower budgeting, grant variations/extensions, etc.
Skills and qualifications:
- Postgraduate/Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences/Biological Sciences/Biomedical Engineering or related- Preferably 2 years of related working experience in general research grants administration work in a healthcare, technology management, academic or research environment- Possess a good working knowledge of the research landscape in Singapore- Meticulous, team-player and able to work independently.- Resourceful, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to develop new ideas and provide conceptual solutions- A positive attitude, ability to multitask, good interpersonal, communication and writing skills including minutes writing-
