The Financial Solution Architect role is a KEY position in Alibaba Cloud's international business division. The Financial Solution Architect is both experienced cloud architect and specialized domain expert with comprehensive IT knowledge in Financial industries; Our Financial Solution Architect offers comprehensive IT knowledge and industry insights when crafting solutions for customers and partners and ultimately responsible for architecting business solutions that enable customer and partner success. - Strong Leadership of the Financial Industry Community. Develops their Financial Industry Solution Consultant brand as executive, trusted advisor and thought leader in the market. - Understanding the unique requirements of customers and partners, helping to define their business and technical architecture based on Alibaba Cloud products and services. - A key driver of enabling new business models and bring their executive expertise to remove barriers and bring market trends to customer senior leadership teams which enables a shared vision of their innovation journey. - Influences the mindset of customers by challenging the status-quo, bringing innovative ideas and showcasing the unique role that Alibaba cloud can play. - Capture, consolidate, and share industrial-specific best-practice knowledge and share with both inside Alibaba Cloud business, as well as tech community and industrial communities. - Closely work with global and industrial eco-systems and associations, to leverage the strength of the industrial eco-system and bring the impact of Alibaba Cloud.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. - Very experienced in banking, insurance, securities, or financial service’s solution domain (preferably in the Asia region), especially how the industry works, regulation and compliance requirements, technical landscape, ecosystem and partners, and also understand how to guide the customers to transform via digital transformation and via innovation methodologies. - Have the ability to convince customer’s C-level and handhold them to transform digitally step by step. - Familiarity with any of major public cloud platforms (Alibaba Cloud / AWS / Azure / GCP). - Able to work under pressure, and be able to think strategically about businesses, products and technical challenges. - Fluent English speaking, Mandarin is a big plus. Excellent communication skills including writing, proofreading and editing skills, be able to create documentation that can express cloud architectures using text and diagrams.
