Asst Manager, Marcom

The incumbent will assist the Director of Marcom in the development and execution of communications and PR activities and initiatives.
**Communications & Public Relations**
- Drive media announcements for Club and fraternities’ including media releases, media statements, events and online updates.
- Support business units in developing and implementing media-related activities to achieve positive coverage.
- Conduct media monitoring and manage crisis alerts.
- Assist with club photography for events
- Work with vendors in the production of corporate video
- Assist with the communications materials and promotion of services at new the clubhouse,
- Assist in Events planning, organization of Club events.
- Assist with designing of collaterals
- Ensuring accuracy of all information on the corporate website and mobile app
- Contribute and write for club magazine Islander.
- Perform any other marketing-related duties when required.
- Any other tasks assigned by Director of Marcom
**Social Media**
- Provide key support for all administrative matters for the Club’s social media accounts and be the Social Media team’s daily contact
- Plan, create and develop engaging social media content, schedules/ calendars and pipeline
- Liaise and work closely with the various departments and fraternities to create compelling content to be shared with the social media audience
- Manage and oversee social media platforms/ communities by crafting appropriate responses to social media posts and discussions;
- Create and develop fun and engaging videos with the help of online tools to drive engagement
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Business Studies/Administration/ Management, Mass Communications, Marketing or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in a related area as an individual contributor, and 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience may be required.
- A creative and meticulous individual who works well both independently and as a team
- Demonstrated experience with all types of social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.)
- Experience in crafting marketing collaterals, press releases, and content marketing in digital marketing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving and highly challenging environment
