Marcom (Casual Leasing) Executive

The Marcom Executive supports the Marcom Head of Department in the mall’s advertising, promotion and marketing with a focus in casual leasing licensing. He/she will be responsible for the performance of assigned duties, which will include the continuous improvement of Marcom revenue, overall footfall, and tenants’ sales performance at the mall.
**Responsibilities**:
**A. Casual Leasing**
- Support the Marcom Manager in retail planning, including trade/tenant mix review and planning.
- Assist with enquiries for space, review and make necessary recommendations on casual leasing.
- Source and secure interests from suitable prospective licensees/tenants who fit into the desired tenant mix of the mall.
- Assist in negotiation of casual leasing terms for new licences and renewals, including licence fees, and review any variations.
- Prepare and track licence documentation and update marketing kits as directed by the manager.
- Operate various systems and tools for management of lease/licence, tenanats’sales, mall footfall, monitoring tenants’/ licensees’ sales
- Assist with data collection and analysis in relation to market research, revenue, sales performance and footfall.
- Work closely with the Centre Director and Head of Department to achieve optimum occupancy and revenue.
- Responsible for the upkeep of files and the orderly maintenance of tenancy and sales documents.
**B. General Marcom Duties**
- Propose concepts, plan, and execute A&P campaigns for the mall, including but not limited to both online and offline strategies.
- Work closely with partners to maximise promotions and A&P efforts to increase shopper footfall and tenant sales.
- Liaise and work closely with advertising agencies, media, tenants, contractors, and event companies to ensure the successful execution of projects and events.
- Conduct post-promotional campaign/event reviews and track budgets to assess the effectiveness of promotions and events.
- Manage enquiries and complaints from all external parties, including the public, government authorities, and tenants.
- Responsible for general administration works for Marcom Department, including preparation of reports and budgets.
- Act as the Duty Manager when assigned.
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor or the Head of Department from time to time.
**Requirements**:
- Degree/ Diploma in Mass Communications, Marketing or a related field
- At least 2 years of proven marketing communications experience in the retail / mall industry.
- Creative, dynamic and resourceful with good media and relevant promotional partners’ contacts.
- A team player and self-starter with good interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Data driven and results-oriented, comfortable with numbers and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
- Fast and independent with strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Prepared to work long and irregular hours including weekends and holidays.
- Possess strong analytical skills for dissecting data and analysing sales performance within the mall.
