An Assistant Operations Manager is the subordinate of operations manager and works under his overall supervision. He is responsible for taking care of various functions performed in the organization. Assistant operations manager manages, trains and increases the efficiency of the systems of support such as the human resource working for the organization, IT department, etc. He also takes care of the recruitment, he along with the recruitment staff makes sure that the people appointed for the job of operations are well qualified for the job and should be enthusiastic and not lethargic.

**Responsibilities**
- The assistant operations manager is responsible for preparing the annual budget of the organization so that it can be assessed at the end of the financial year if the expenses exceeded the budget or not
- The responsibility of an assistant operations manager also comprise of accessing whether the company is making profits or incurring losses. This is one of the major responsibilities of the assistant operations manager
- Assistant operations manager responsibilities comprise of recruiting people who can carry out the operations work properly. He makes sure that all the new recruiters know their work responsibilities properly, the assistant operations manager supervises the new employees so that they do not make any mistakes while working
- He is also responsible for overseeing all the financial matters, planning and making long term strategies for the growth and progress of the company

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Proven work experience as Assistant Operations Manager.
- Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Budget development and oversight experience.
- Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics.
- Basic IT skills (databases, MS Office etc).
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
