SUSHISAMBA Singapore, a renowned fusion restaurant blending Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavors, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Steward Manager to join our pre-opening team.

**Job Purpose**

The Assistant Steward Manager is generally responsible for keeping the restaurant premises clean and tidy and supervising a team of stewards, to maintain hygiene of the kitchen and serving area.

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Ensure all the kitchen area and stations are kept perfectly dirt free at all times
- Responsible for the tidiness and proper keeping of all sections
- Stock take and ensure the availability of all needed material and supplies for the team to carry out their duties
- Inspect and ensures floors are wiped, kitchen and stations are well maintained
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order
- To move, stack, carry, load and unload equipment, food stuff and other articles
- Garbage removal from all assigned areas according to company policies
- Follow safe work practices
- To have a well-groomed appearance at all times and to have a pleasant smiling attitude towards all guests
- To maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

**Communication & Working Relationships**
- Maintains effective communication between all departments

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or in a service-related industry is preferred but not essential
- Excellent physical condition
- Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, Sanitation, and Personal Hygiene basics
- Organized and disciplined character
- Acceptable English
- Polite and hygiene oriented
