Job Requirements

This role is responsible to support the Regional Head of FP&A in defining the Regional FP&A agenda and delivering on it. It requires significant interaction with market finance teams, Regional business line managers, as well as COG finance management in the US/Europe and the Global Digital team.

In addition to business partnership, the role demands sound judgement and strong financial analytical skills along with being a “driver of change” to support the continuous improvement agenda of the FP&A function.

**Responsibilities**: Participate and support month-end close process, reviewing monthly management results for the region ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely close. This includes direct responsibility over several regional activities/processes, such as review of Written Premium, Reinsurance and Earn Premium for all lines of business and full Digital P&L. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues at both regional and country level and troubleshoot on any issues in conjunction with Regional Head of FP&A and Regional CFO. Business Partnership - work closely with regional Digital distribution & development team to provide on-going business support such as financial guidance & training, support business development activities, supplement with financial analysis and data for their reporting and use. Management and performance reporting and analysis of Digital financial results. Take responsibility for overall management and delivery of Digital planning, forecast, and reporting. Submission of Digital P&L data to Global Digital for the forecast and annual/strategic plan, along with all other reporting requirements to support presentation materials and business review exercise. Participate in monthly business review meetings with Global Digital management, which includes presentation of APAC Digital financial results. Collaboration in M&A due diligence and business case projections and financial modelling support. Oversee regions XOL reinsurance treaty accounting, budget and forecast processes. This entails: Ongoing development and maintenance of the Reinsurance cube in TM1 Provide guidance and support to countries on treaty cost bookings, budgeting and forecast Review, analysis, and reporting of forecast/plan and actual XOL treaty costs, renewal treaty costs changes and expired treaty adjustments. This also involve participation in the review of COG renewal treaty cost allocations. Design, develop and maintain TM1 platform in conjunction with Regional Head of FP&A, based on business needs to improve financial planning, reporting and analysis processes. Support regional users together with finance teams across the region by overseeing their business needs and providing regular training.

Work Experience

**Requirements**:

- At least 10 years plus Insurance experience preferably in a business, analytics, or financial manager role
- CPA or CA qualified including business degree
- Experience in financial leadership
- Demonstrated and proven staff management experience
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Sound judgment, financial acumen, analytical and planning skills
- Excellent proficiency and experience in financial consolidation, planning, reporting systems
- Ability to think and act innovatively
- Good communication and negotiation skills and fluency in English.
- Ability to work with a large diverse group of stakeholders. Strong relationship building, presentation and interfacing skills.
- Flexibility to work within multiple time zones.
