**Position Summary**

In support of ASM’s Data and Analytics growth journey, we are searching for a Data Analyst. This role in the Operations Data Analytics team is pivotal for Reporting, Analytics and Insights for the Global Operations Business functions encompassing Forecasting, Production Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations Engineering Change Control and Quality.

As a Data Analyst you will work closely with Data Analysts and business stakeholders to provide Data Analysis, Reports, Insights and Solutions to Business problems.

**Primary Responsibilities**

The responsibilities are grouped into two main areas:

- Development : To develop Microsoft Power BI Reports (Data Visualization Reports) for Global Operations Business Functions.
- Data Analysis : To understand business problem, identify data sources, extract data, analyze and publish results and presentations to the stakeholders.

**Your role**
- Design, build, test and maintain Microsoft Power BI Dashboards.
- Collaborate with data analyst and business stakeholders, to understand business problems and deliver data analysis, insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Technology IT teams - Business Intelligence, SAP Applications and Data Engineering teams for Power BI Dataflow creations.
- Suggest recommendations for Automating repetitive tasks using Microsoft Platforms Solutions/AI,
- Handle change requests and service requests
- Participate/Conceive in Big Data project/proof of concept using Azure Data Lake/Azure AI.

**Education**

Bachelor/Master’s Degree/ in Data Analytics / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence/ Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science/IT/ Engineering / Computing / Supply Chain or Operations Management / Operations Research or related STEM qualification

**Experience**
- Knowledge of Data Visualization Concepts and Tools eg. Microsoft Power BI
- Minimum 2 years work experience in Data Analytics field / Data Science / AI projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Programming Language (R/Python/SQL )
- Statistics
- Data Analytics Basic Concepts, Technologies and Solutioning
- AI basic knowledge / Algorithms functioning
- Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Quality / Operations Engineering functional process knowledge
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, logical reasoning and problem framing and solving skills
- SAP R/3 or ERP techno-functional knowledge
- Data Analytics / AI / Technology certification
- Excellent Communication skills - Verbal and Written to communicate with global stakeholders
