**Role Summary**

You will be part of a young and dynamic data team working in a cross-functional team environment to build up and support data analytics capabilities and improve data-driven decision making. The analytics will derive insights from our investment data warehouse as well as any other external datasets for our investment managers and risk professionals in their investment reporting and analysis. This role will report directly to Head Data Strategy & Management.

The data analytics capabilities will be built up incrementally starting with a set of investment risk dashboards.The data analyst will be part of the team ensuring the smooth operations of the dashboards/reports and working with cross-functional teams to build up and maintain the data semantic layer and new dashboards/reports in compliance with relevant standards and best practices.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

As a data analyst in the data team for our investment data analytics capabilities, you are expected to:

- drive, implement and deliver changes and/or new investment data dashboards & reporting.
- build-up a deep understanding of the various business teams’ processes and insights/reporting needs to identifying data requirements and investment dashboards/ reports needed.
- work closely with business teams and data owners/stewards to manage & deliver the pipeline of analytics data, dashboards and reports. Drive synergy across different business units for common solutions on similar needs.
- work closely with technology teams on delivery of data pipelines and ensure system performance meets business SLAs.
- develop best practice and design guidelines on building and maintaining analytics data, dashboards and reporting.
- explore and experiment new data tools and capabilities for provision of data analytics and insights discovery (AI/ML, NLP, Visualization etc).
- support BAU (business-as-usual) operational activities in analytics data & dashboards/reports SLA, quality management, issues resolution, user queries.
- manage BAU changes on production analytics data, dashboards and reports.
- guide business teams in their own development and management of dashboards and reports where applicable.

**Education Qualification**

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics or equivalent discipline.

**Experience and Skills**
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data management, business intelligence & analysis
- Strong domain knowledge of investment data and their usage in investment analysis & reporting.
- Good working knowledge of data management concepts and getting & harmonizing data from different data sources for data analytics.
- Hands-on experience with MS Power BI, Power Query, DAX, MDX, Snowflake, SQL & Stored Procedures, Python or equivalent in delivering BI & reporting solutions and semantic data layers.
- Knowledge of Amazon S3, NLP, AI/ML and MSSQL BI Stack tools (SSRS, TSQL etc) implementations would be advantageous.
- Experience leveraging both traditional and advanced data analytics techniques in combination with strong business acumen to generate actionable insights.
- Strong team player and yet exhibit independence in driving and delivering business outcomes.
