Key Accountabilities
- Actively participate and drive process design and improvements jointly with the APAC regional, country S&OP team and the global S&OP team.
- Maintain optimal S&OP processes in Region for assigned products. This includes developing, maintaining and monitoring all S&OP processes in the region including target setting, training, process maintenance and tool set use, to achieve an effective S&OP process.
- Ensure organizational alignment between Country, Region, and Global functions.
- Demonstrate alignment to Global demand and supply planning process.
- Fully understand and convey region’s unique needs, develop informational decks/reporting to clearly assess plans, including supporting data, analysis, and new developments in supply upsides and constraints. Assist regions in identifying, training and supporting country representatives, demonstrating an effective and sustainable S&OP process.
- Lead unit and dollar demand forecast (including revenue and samples) review with Regional Counterparts proactively. Work alongside regional counterparts to align demand forecast submission against market activities and sales trends. Identify gaps between current plans and financial commitments, derive possible gap closing initiatives and highlight the risks and opportunities. Drive accuracy from the countries and submit on-time to Global counterparts that accurately reflects the regional demand, for short

- Assess financial risks with country team and work on mitigation efforts to reduce financial $ exposure
- Strengthen S&OP organization by hiring/retaining top talent and develop associates to increase their performance, potential and skills; instil a culture of excellence and sustainable high performance.
- Manage the assigned Region’s inventory position on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods by ensuring trade-off between networking capital targets and customer service levels.
- Partner with the Regional Commercial team on the product portfolio by overseeing regional product launches/ rationalization/ special promotions, including communications to regulatory group and other key stakeholders.
- Initiate projects to optimize the S&OP process to a mature stage.
- Consolidate forecasting, inventory and logistics data, providing data analysis and implementing solutions to ensure integrated performance metrics achievement.
- Ensure that critical forecasting and inventory planning inputs and parameters are updated in planning system (customer forecast, new product introductions, lead times, stocking status, etc.)
Ideal Background
- Minimum 10 years with 3-5 years of extensive experience in a viable S&OP process managing a medium to large product portfolio. Interaction with cross-functional teams and working with all levels of the management team. Knowledge and experience in forecasting software and demonstrated proficiency in Excel. Computer literacy and proficiency, use of spreadsheets, databases, map systems, ERP, MRP
- Degree or higher in any field from accredited university
- Verbal and written communication skills in English, maturity to deal with matters of confidentiality and sensitivity.
