**The tasks that await you**
You will focus on negotiating and securing profitable shipping contracts, optimizing vessel utilization while adapting to fluctuating market conditions and cultivating positive relationships with clients, brokers, and other key stakeholders.

Besides this, your primary responsibility includes:

- Maximise earnings on own tonnage.
- Create direct value doing short-term contracts, tonnage and cargoes.
- Obtain and share market information.
- Analyse market research and formulate and share market view.
- Closely collaborate with Operations on ongoing voyages to proactively optimise results and ensure high-level service to clients.
- Develop strategic trades to enable growth globally.
- Coordinate and position our fleet in close cooperation with the team.

Business travels is to be expected.

**Your competences and core qualifications**
As a person, you are outgoing and take pride in building good relationships with relevant stakeholders - internal and external. You are committed and able to work on your own, while still prioritising the needs of the team before your own agenda. It is energising for you to coordinate and direct your communication to ensure an optimised workflow.

Apart from this you have:

- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within Dry Cargo Chartering.
- A proven history within follow areas:

- Far East Markets
- Trading and Optimising earnings on tonnage and cargoes
- Key customer relationships
- Basic understanding of hedging and FFA.
