The intern will support the IT team in asset tracking and observability dashboard development. Monitor hardware, virtual assets, and backups for comprehensive oversight. Gain hands-on experience with IT monitoring tools, asset management systems, and data visualization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Audit and update IT asset information in NetBox.
- Identify gaps in asset tracking and maintain data accuracy.
- Monitor hardware performance and health using CheckMK.
- Track virtual assets and their resource use.
- Monitor backup processes and restoration procedures.
- Analyze data for system performance insights.
- Develop Power BI dashboards for asset management and system metrics.
- Document processes and create user guides.
- Implement automated workflows for efficiency.
- Provide updates in team meetings.
- Research best practices for asset management and monitoring.

**Requirements**:

- Pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualization, and asset management.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Willingness to learn NetBox.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems like CheckMK is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of backup technologies and processes.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar languages is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
