Today, based in Singapore, they are a multimillion-dollar organization that is constantly developing new aspects of its business as it evolves into an integrated, asset-based energy company.

**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The position reports to the Risk Manager and will be part of the Middle Office team. She or he will support the Commodities Operator with scheduling and smooth running of day-to-day operations for the desk.
- Daily physicals and derivatives trading P&L generation, analysis, and managing pricing exposures
- Daily derivatives reconciliation between clearing accounts and in-house trading system
- Daily settlement prices update and construction of forward curves
- Month end costs verification with operations and P&L reconciliation with accounting
- Occasional coverage for European trading hours from home
- Close liaison with Risk manager on in-house system developments
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Risk manager

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Finance
- **Minimum 1 year's work experience, in the energy commodity trading firms or banks as middle office/product control**:

- Strong analytical ability, team player, meticulous, and good communication skills
- Pro-active and able to take initiative to pre-empt problems and complete tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and possess good knowledge of Excel VBA macros preferred
